KenyaTalK is a news mobile application that provides a listing of local (Kenyan) and selected international news items quickly and conveniently .News content is obtained from the most popular local media houses e.g The Nation media group and Standard media group.

Users get to select a given news piece from the listing provided and can view a short description of that particular news item from within the app displayed via a dialog box.

News content is updated regularly as it is published hence guaranteeing that what is displayed is current.Steps have been taken to guarantee that descriptions are brief and concise to improve user experience .Also images are not displayed due to hardware and software limitations on mobile phones and to reduce overall cost of running the application to the user.
