Insurance Kenya is an application that gives a listing of insurance covers available in Kenya as well as the insurance companies that offer them. The categories of insurance cover include Fire insurance, medical insurance, motor insurance as well as burglary insurance. For now, this are the insurance covers I have concentrated on.

Insurance Kenya is a directory of sorts of the insurance industry in Kenya. Upon selecting the kind of insurance one is looking for and selecting an insurance company of interest, the user is then provided with information on the insurance company such as their values and what they stand for, physical location, fax number, postal address as well as email address. There is also an option to call the insurance company.

Upon starting the application, there is a splash page after which the user is brought to a home page. There they will see a list of insurance types; Fire insurance, medical insurance, motor insurance and burglary insurance. Once they select an insurance cover of interest, they will see a list of companies offering the said insurance cover. When the user clicks on an insurance company of choice they are presented with the company’s details i.e.  A brief description of the insurance company and what they strive to achieve as well as their physical location, postal address, fax number and email address. There is also a call function that enables one to call the insurance company.
